Top 10 Reasons to Hate Concord! Number 5

Union Street! I hate that the most important street in Concord is named after the enemy in the War of Northern Aggression. The street should be named "Confederate" street, but Concord is full of Carpetbaggers.

Deacs leave Heels feeling blue in 37-10 Rout!

Great Job Wake! The holes need one more loss to be ineligible for a bowl. Sweet!

Noles rout Devils!

It appears that the Blue Devils are not playing as well as they were a few weeks ago. I guess all Duke eyes are on the basketball court now. :)

Buckeyes Wipeout Penn State 37-17!

What a great road win for the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes returned to the site of their last regular season loss, in 2005. Penn State had over 100,000 screaming fans dressed in white for their infamous "whiteout". It was great to see the Buckeyes "wipeout" the lions on their home field and impress the voters. I believe the Buckeyes look more like the number one team each week.

Vols and tears for the Gamecocks!

I can't believe that we came all the way back from 21-0 at the half, to tie the game, and then lose in overtime. That was just cruel. We had a chance to control our destiny, but now it looks like another cheap bowl.

Boston College rides Ryan express to win!

Wow, I taped this game and watched the final quarter. It was an amazing comeback by BC. It reminded me of Kannapolis-Concord from 1990. BC scored 2 TD's in the final 2 minutes of the game. It was sweet, because I hate Va Tech!

Jury Duty!

I had to waste 2 days of my life in the 90's on a stupid civil court case. I only made $12.00 a day for that big waste of time. It's just another reason to HATE concord!

Top 10 Reasons to Hate Concord! Number 10

I am going to be counting down to the "Battle for the Bell 07" with a personal Top 10 Reasons to HATE concord! I will give one reason for the next ten days, and will include a Top Reason to love Kannapolis.

It was Cabarrus Memorial, then Northeast, now CMC Northeast. It's crazy! It's like a woman who's been married multiple times.

Torn ACL likely ends Morrison's season

Wow, the bobcats have lost 2 of their top 10 players before the first regular season game. Sean May, who was a loser anyway, and now Adam Morrison. I thought that Morrison would have a better season this year, and his pre season seemed to prove that. I wonder who the next "hole" the bobcats will pick up to take his place?

It looks like MJ may have to play and become the Bobcats version of "Vinny Testaverde, yeah".

Gamecocks lose but still control our destiny in the SEC!

Wow, I'm glad the game was not on TV. I followed the game online and it was full of Gamecock turnovers. It's very difficult to win when you don't keep the ball. The good news is if we win the next three SEC games, (Tenn, Arkansas, and Florida) we will still be in the SEC Championship game in December.

Carr or Testaverde? Fox isn't saying yet!

Well, I'm going to vote for Vinny. He had a good day against Arizona, and since Carr wasn't the number 1 quarterback to start the season, I think you have to play the QB who's playing well.

Another Heel? Bobcats hire Jason Capel!

It seems to me that the Bobcats are doing everything they can to alienate the DUKE, state, and wake people. You would think they would at least throw us a bone!!! I heard that they are considering adding a new mascot, a ram and have a pep band play the tarhole fight song. Will it ever end???

Charlotte Bobcats Preview

I'm not in favor of all the holes involved, but they only have one worthy of the court, Raymond Felton, who I do like. I think the Bobcats are going to challenge for a playoff spot this year, even if they CBS person does not agree.

Testaverde strong-arms Cardinals in Panthers Win!

I know that Vinny made all of us "fortysomethings" feel a little better yesterday (except for my gout attack that seems to never end). It was great to see him make passes, escape the pass rush, and lead us to a big win. Now, the panthers will have a true qb controversy, David Carr or Vinny Testaverde.

Spurrier gets in dig at Heels after Gamecock Win!

I wish there was a way that Spurrier could coach both teams.

"I didn't want to lose up here," Spurrier said. "I'm happy for the Dukies and the South Carolina people. I felt like I was coaching for both of them today."

You have to love the "ole ball coach".

Duke wants to hear the cheers again -- for the right reasons!

I hate to burst Lance's bubble, but DUKE will be hated for quite sometime. It's just part of being the greatest basketball program for the past 20 years. If he wants us to become unc, maryland, etc, then maybe he should transfer :)

I don't mind the crowd hating us, but I do hate that it seems to be affecting the refs. I think the refs have turned on us as well, and that is something that K needs to address.

Devils aim to hit high gear in 07-08!

I like what I'm hearing that K is going to play more because of our depth, but he's been saying that for a few years and it nevers happens. I hope that Marty gets more time, even if his defense is a little shaky at times. We have to play more than 6-7 players on a regular basis, and for the entire season.

Three Carries for 242 Yards!

I was listening to the game at this point, and it was amazing! I thought we may have a chance to reach the infamous 97-0 score against Northwest! We were on pace at halftime, with a total of 49 points :)!

Wonders untouched at Piedmont for 56-10 Victory!

I'm glad I did not make the trip for this game. Once again, this conference is a joke once you take out Kannapolis, Concord, Anson, and Sun Valley. The other 5 teams are just terrible, and I hope it doesn't hurt the big 4 when it comes to the playoffs. We are not getting enough tough games that may come back to hurt us, but until then, GO WONDERS!!!

Steamroller win (DUKE 41 unc 0, 1989) defined Spurrier’s brash style

I have read some great articles leading up to the Carolina vs North Carolina game this Saturday. It's great to read about the 3 great years that Spurrier had at Duke. I have really enjoyed the articles on that great day when DUKE won their last ACC Football Championship!

I have a few more articles about the CAROLINA vs north carolina games following this post. Hope you enjoy!
