Racing world anticipates Logano's big start | delawareonline | The News Journal
I'm glad to see that Joe Gibbs has someone who may be able to step in if Tony Stewart leaves, or a driver that Tony Stewart can be part owner of his team. Either way, it looks like good news for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Football's popularity irrefutable by Tom Sorenson
I'm glad to see that the Final Four is number 2. I love college basketball, so that was good news on the ratings for the major championships in sports.

Bad News for Duke Fans!
The Observer has a story about Ty Lawson will return to unc if he's not in the top 20 of the NBA draft. I see no way that he will be drafted that high, so I guess he can come back to unc and play with the 23 year old hanstravel in the ACC.

Delhomme returns
to field for Panthers!
I sure hope that Jake is able to be fully recovered from his surgery. I believe he is the key to the Panthers returning to the Super Bowl this year. I can't wait for football season to begin.

Kahne backs up all-star win with another in the 600
I could not believe that Tony Stewart blew a tire with just a few laps left and cost him the win. He has some really bad luck this year at the end of races. My fav driver, Kyle Busch, had a good night with at third place finish, even though he had alternator problems. Denny Hamlin blew a tire at the end of the race and dropped about 10 spots. It was not the best of night for the Joe Gibbs Team but now it's off to Dover.

James Blake (USA) reaches second round in Paris!
This is great news for the USA since we had no one to advance to the second round last year in the Men's French Open

With Busch out, boredom rules at All Star Race
I could not have said it any better. I found the race to be very boring and they did not give us a good crash. I was at the first night All Star race in 92, and it ended with the Davey Allison crashing across the finish line to win. It was an awesome race, but last night was horrible.

Former Panther found dead in Texas
Curtis Whitley was the Panther's first starting center in franchise history in 1995. He started every game that year.

Busch puts on another Intimidator-like performance at Darlington.
A great article about Kyle and the great one, Dale Senior.

Boo who? Busch battles back for the Darlington win
Kyle had an awesome race. He hit the wall a few times at Darlington, but he was still able to win the race. He became the youngest driver to ever win at Darlington in over 50 years of history. I think in the pre race he was making fun of the Jr fans as he wiped something out of his eyes. It was hilarious. When he won the race, he stopped and bowed to all the booing fans.
He complained about his brakes all night, said early in the race it was the worse car he's ever driven, but he still leads the most laps and wins. I would have hated to see him with a great car. He would have lapped the entire field.

I'm Back to Blogging Sports
Wow, a lot has happened in the sports world since my last blog.
The Patriots, the greatest team of all time until the Super Bowl, lost to the NY "Football" Giants in one of the best games in Super Bowl History.
The Blue Devils bounced back and had a good season. We finished in second in the regular season and was a number 2 seed in the tournament. The Blue Devils had a few players who got sick with the flu and we lost to West Virginia in the second round. We only lost one player, so next year should be even better.
The Final Four was awesome. I could not have wrote a better script for the holes. They were going against Kansas, the unc of the midwest. Kansas came out and took a 40-12 lead. It was awesome. unc would make a run, cut it to 6 but would then be finished off by almost 20 points. It was so great to see the holes have their hearts stomped on twice in one game. It got even better when ole roy showed up for the championship game with a Kansas sticker. Priceless
Duke got a new football coach and I think we may actually get better in the future. They got David Cutcliffe who was offensive coordinator of Tennessee and was head coach at Ole Miss with Eli Manning. I may have to get some tickets and support the football team.
The Bobcats have also got a new coach after only one year with Mr Vincent. The Bobcats have hired Larry Brown, and even though he was a hole, I'm excited about getting a good coach for our team. I hope he is able to turn them around.
I have decided to follow Nascar more this year than I have in some time. It seems that we have a driver who could be the next great driver, Kyle Busch. He's now driving for Joe Gibbs Racing, who I've been pulling for along with Tony Stewart for many years. Kyle Busch has won 2 races this year and is leading in points and he's only 23.
