I can remember watching him do the Olympic coverage back in 1980 as we beat the evil Russians in Hockey. He also was on ABC's Wide World of Sports that I remember watching on Saturday afternoon. "The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat". I will never forget that phrase in the opening credits of the show.
